What is Email Sync?
Email Sync enables agencies to automate review collection regardless of the tools and systems they use. Just like the ATS integrations, Email Sync allows recruiters and agencies to passively collect reviews by connecting with existing platforms like Salesforce, Gmail, Recruiter Wizzard, FastTrack360 and many more.
ADDING EMAIL SYNC TO MANUAL EMAILS
If you send manual transactional emails to candidates and clients (e.g. welcome, first day, congratulations communications) then you’re in the right place!
Email Sync works by adding in a BCC email address to these emails, which sends a trigger to our system prompting a review request to the recipient. It’s as easy as pasting this link into the BCC field of this email, and we do the rest!
How does it work?
Each agency has a unique BCC email address linked to your account. If you include this BCC email as a recipient to any email sent to the candidate or client post placement - it will trigger the Email Sync process and send a review request to the recipient.

Once logged in, this can be found on the Reviews page in your app. Click on ‘Get Reviews’ and then select ‘Email Sync' under Automatic Integrations. This will take you to your unique BCC link and you can copy and paste the link to your BCC field.
Matching a review to a placement:
Once your review is returned you can check it through the 'Reviews' page under the 'Missing Verification' column.
Click on Verify under the candidate name and choose to either select a placement you wish to assign your review to and connect it, or add a new placement. Feel free to refer to our guide here to understand how to verify reviews.
ADDING EMAIL SYNC TO AUTOMATED EMAILS
Automated email Sync is in its initial feature release and will currently only work for softwares that allow for a BCC implementation. Most ATS and transactional email platforms (e.g. Gmail and Salesforce) have this functionality.
How does it work?
Each agency has a unique BCC email address linked to your account as mentioned above. If you include the unique BCC email address on any automated email send post placement, e.g. first day email, thank you email or invoice send - it will trigger the Email Sync process and send a review request to the recipient.
How to set it up:
Navigate the Reviews tab
Click on ‘Get Reviews’ and select ‘Email Sync’ under automations
Copy and paste your unique agency BCC email address
Input it into your chosen software, we have step by step instructions for Gmail and step by step instructions for FastTrack360. For any other platforms, send us a message and we can assist with the set up.
Test this by inputting a dummy placement with your own email as the client or candidate. Once the transactional email is sent by your system, you should receive a Review Request email from us within 72 hours. If this isn’t received, please get in touch with our team.

Email sync as a feature has to be applied agency wide and set up by the agency admin. Same as all other integrations offers, the method of integration cannot differ per user within an account. You can learn about other integrations available to automate reviews here.
Will SEEK see the content of the email that it’s cc’d to?

The content of trigger emails goes through our system, though it’s not viewed, stored or saved as it’s a single point in time to trigger a review request. Only the subject line is visible by our team when conducting the set up ‘test’ for your account.

The agency admin will be responsible for allocating a review collected via email sync to the relevant placement. Once done this review will be verified and appear on both individual and agency profiles.
