You asked for more, qualified inbound enquiry, so we got to work! We’re excited to introduce Live Jobs Ads on Sourcr. Designed to increase quality inbound candidate enquiry and reduce time to hire.

This feature brings your active SEEK, JobsDB and JobStreet ads directly to your Sourcr profile - where candidates can message you directly about a specific role if they're not ready to apply.

All job ads link back to SEEK, JobsDB or JobStreet, so starting an application is now only two clicks away from your profile.

By showcasing all relevant information in one place—your reviews, achievements, and live roles—Live Jobs Ads on Sourcr strengthens your profile to build trust and prove your capability.

Managing Jobs on Your Sourcr Profile

  1. Log into the Sourcr app and navigate to the ‘Jobs’ menu on the sidebar

  2. Manage your job ads by turning them on or off using the toggle switch OR

  3. Adjust the order in which they appear using the dotted bar

Important Notes:

  • If you’re an agency admin, you can only manage jobs on the agency profile. Individual recruiters manage their own listings.

  • Toggling an ad ‘off’ does not remove the listing from SEEK, JobsDB or JobStreet, it only removes it from appearing on your Sourcr profile.

How to Get Value From This Feature

  1. Ensure your Sourcr widget is showing on all SEEK job ads - this will mean that candidates can easily find your profile, browse all jobs and reach out about specific questions. Learn how to do that here.

  2. Link your Sourcr Profile at every candidate-facing touchpoint and don't forget to use a custom call-to-action so they know to browse your open roles.

Link your Sourcr Profile URL to your:

  • Email signatures

  • LinkedIn profile bio

  • LinkedIn profile custom button

  • LinkedIn posts

  • Job ad listings

  • Agency website

  • All printed collateral via your Sourcr QR code (see Marketing Assets article for instructions)

FAQs

1. Can candidates apply for jobs directly on Sourcr?

No, candidates can’t apply directly on Sourcr. They can view live job ads on your profile and message you with any questions. All job applications happen through SEEK/ JobsDB/ JobStreet

2. How do candidate messages work?

When a candidate is interested in one of your jobs, they can send a message through Sourcr. Here’s what happens next:

  • You’ll receive an email notification that includes the candidate's message, their country of residence and the relevant live job ad URL.

  • To respond, copy the candidate’s email address from the notification, and send them an email directly.

Important Notes:

  • Do not reply to the notification email from Sourcr, as your message won’t reach the candidate. Use the details in the notification to connect with the candidate.

3. Why aren’t all my job ads showing on Sourcr?

If some job ads aren’t showing on Sourcr, it could be due to mismatched information.

Sourcr matches job ads to your profile based on a hierarchy of criteria:

  1. Recruiter Code: If your unique Sourcr recruiter code is in the job ad description, it takes priority.

  2. ATS Connection: If no recruiter code is found, we'll check if your ATS is connected to Sourcr and then we'll match the job to the recruiter listed as the ATS job owner.

  3. Email Address: If there’s no match through recruiter code or ATS, we’ll search the job ad for an email address.

  4. Phone Number: If there’s no match through recruiter code, ATS, or email we’ll search the job ad for a phone number.

Important Notes:

  • If the email or phone number in the ad doesn’t match the email or phone number you used to sign up to Sourcr, the ad won’t appear on your Sourcr profile.

  • If you're not the ATS job owner, the ad won’t appear on your Sourcr profile.

How to find your recruiter code:

  1. Go to your Sourcr homepage.

  2. Look for the blue banner halfway down the page, which shows your unique recruiter code.

  3. Add the code to your job advert.

4. How long do jobs stay on Sourcr?

Job ads remain on your Sourcr profile as long as they’re active on SEEK/ JobsDB/ JobStreet. Once a job expires on SEEK/ JobsDB/ JobStreet, it will be removed from Sourcr within 24 hours.
