We are so excited to launch the new and improved Sourcr Recruiter Directory!

This is an exciting feature which has been designed to add maximum value to Sourcr users - including:

  • Be found by candidates and hirers, who can easily find out

  • Stand out above your rivals as the go-to market expert

  • Connect with candidates and hirers, receive inbound enquiry from prospects with an immediate need

The Sourcr Recruiter Directory is a destination for candidates and hirers to browse, compare and connect with the right recruiter or agency.

How it works:

Candidates and hirers can search via name, if they know who they’re looking for, or via industry, role type and location to browse.

Results are served and ranked by profile quality, which takes into account:

  • Review quantity

  • Review quality (overall rating)

  • Profile completeness - e.g. profile picture and contact details uploaded

How candidates and hirers can find you:

How to update your Specialisation, Role Type or Location:

  1. Location data for profile can also be updated in ‘Edit Profile’ where region and state can be added to maximise relevance in search results.

  2. Role Type is found directly under location data field, where you can enter your city and state.

  3. Specialisation data is taken from the industry specialisation selected when a profile is created. It can be updated in ‘Edit Profile’ if these specialisations change over a recruiter’s career.

See below where these fields can be edited in your Settings.

How can recruiters appear higher in relevant search results?

By collecting more reviews and increasing your overall rating - these two factors move profiles up in the search results when candidates and hirers are searching by industry and location. It is also important to have a clear profile photo uploaded, as these profiles are favoured in search results as they are seen to be more valuable to candidates and hirers.

How can candidates and hirers find this directory?

Candidates and hirers can find the directory in several ways:

  • Sourcr site navigation - the directory will be available on the Sourcr website menu

  • Promotional campaigns - Sourcr will be investing in campaigns to drive traffic to the directory to increase value, exposure and enquiry for users

FAQs

Why doesn’t my profile appear when searching by name?

Search results in the Sourcr recruiter directory are exact, which means that any spelling mistakes will exclude the recruiter being searched. It also means that users have to hit ‘enter’ before results appear so that the results can be as accurate as possible.

Does Recommended Recruiter status impact search result ranking?

No, review quantity and quality (overall ranking) are considered in ranking, as well as profile completeness (e.g. profile photo uploaded).

Once candidates and hirers find me in search, how can I increase conversion on my profile?

Once a candidate or hirer arrive on your page, to maximise conversion users should make sure their profile is complete and relevant. A complete profile should have a photo, agency connection, up to date contact details, past placements and industry expertise listed. A relevant profile should have at least one review in the last three months, to show viewers you’re active in the market, as well as your SEEK job ads listed to provide an overview of the opportunities currently available.

My profile appears, though it’s incomplete, how can I update this?

If you have a Sourcr login, it could be that you need to complete profile set up within the Sourcr app - app.sourcr.com/login

If you don’t have a login, you’ll have to set up your profile (this is completely free!) - you can do this here - and hit ‘Sign up’ at the base of the page.
